Elizabeth Taylor

The beautiful iconic actress, Elizabeth Taylor, died today at 79 of congestive heart failure. She starred in over 50 films and is an acting legend. She started her career at 12! She won two Academy Awards, one for Who's Afraid of Virgina Woolf? and the other for Butterfield 8. She also was married eight times and each time had very public break ups! She was clearly ahead of her time as she developed some of the first celebrity fragrances: Passion, White Diamonds, and Black Pearls. She also lead the way as one of the first celebrities to go public as an AIDS activist. She started the Elizabeth Taylor Aids Foundation and has helped raise in excess of $50 million to fight the deadly disease.
She definitely had a passion for jewelry. She owned some of the most brilliant jewelry pieces and she even wrote a book named "My Love Affair with Jewelry."

REST IN PEACE!
