Turbans and Turbands

I've been obsessing over them since I saw Rachel Zoe wearing a black one on her show a long while ago, but now it's become a problem. They are so chic and rockin, I love them!
It's now a must-have at the top of my shopping list {if I ever made one}.

Blake Lively vs Runway

Blake Lively has the greatest style and has been on the watch-out for quite a while now. Take a look at these incredibly pulled off looks from the runway, with a Lively twist on it. She has said numerous times on interviews that she does not use a stylist for the most of her appearances. I'm so proud.

This on is from October at Spike TV’s Scream 2010. She wore the slate gray halter gown with a leather harness and a fabulous slit in the front; this is from Lanvin Spring 2011 collection.

In this next outfit, Blake Lively took an elegant draped short dress from Dior's Pre-Fall 2010 collection and dressed it down with opaque tights, a leather jacket, and chose a HOT HOT pink version.

The below look is from the launch of Lorraine Schwartz’s jewelry line 2BHAPPY. Lively chose this solid gold beautiful gown with a very sleek hairdo that lets  all of the attention go to her amazing figure. The dress is a Versace fringe bustier dress from the Spring 2011 line.

At a Warner Brothers Presentation at Caesar’s Palace, she wore a gorgeous silk and lace dress from the Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2011 collection. Her loose waves, basic blazer, and booties completed an outfit that was more laid-back than the runway look.

From the Marchesa Spring 2011 collection, Lively showed up to the National Board of Review of Motion Pictures Gala in this purple creation that is looking fabulous as always.

She caught the attention of everyone, even the Fashion Police, in this short and fiery red lace mini-dress with a ruffled tutu skirt from the Fall 2011 collection at the CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards.

High waisted Swimwear

So, it's been a while that jeans, trousers, and even shorts have been worn high waisted. Just when I thought that was enough, HIGH WAITED SWIMWEAR pops up. It's actually incredible adorable and reminds me of the 50s (was that it?), not like I was alive anywhere near that; but I wish! I have yet to be bold and scramble the courage to even try one on, but maybe someday.

Paired with fabulous accessories, it'll be hard not to feel glamorous!
