Milan Fashion Week

There are many very memorable moments from New York and London during their fashion weeks; but take a look at these incredible moments from Milan Fashion Week!

These body suits from Dolce and Gabbana are so beautiful and intricate!

Such an intense bottom gives the simple white dress a pop.

Dolce and Gabbana, again. Too much to say about this one! Adorable.

I adore how the top starts off tight and then flows out to create such a great silhouette! Give me one NOW.

Milan Fashion Week!

I was researching Milan Fashion Week and catching up on all the new fads. Actually just because I happened to be on the computer in the photography lab. But no one has to know. It was such a success and I am so excited for the spring trends! I was so pleased. There were some fashions that weren't so hot; but the others made up big time! TAKE A LOOK:
 Jill Sander. LOVE. CLASSY. AWESOME.
Darker tones with an exploration of red, in particular. Hemlines to the knee, not the floor. Bigness will be balanced by things more streamlined.

Prada

Dark red lipstick with dyed fur.

Geometric prints. Leather cuffed gloves to cover up from the cropped sleeves of the spring jacket.
I love this look; it was my favorite!

Bottega
Bottega Veneta
Mixed textures.

Blugir

Color blocking, even the most unlikely of fabrics: high-contrast look that remaines youthful even if cuts are conservative.

Christian Dior

The eveningwear, plenty of the lingerie-inspired looks made an appearence with lots of sheer garments and ruffles, making for beautiful Victorian boudoir-esque gowns.

Nina Ricci

A lightness and a feel of innocence. Abundant use of lace, velvet, and touches of sheer fabrics. Contrasting textures and fabrics. The romanticism of the designer’s delicate fabrics also made for a slew of skirt suits, silk blouses, oversized coats, and fur-trimmed coats.

Dries Van Noten

Patchworked prints along with the more sobering neutrals. Mixing young and fresh with clean and classic. The coats and blazers had contrasting lapel, belted waist, and impeccably tailored form; as well as looking exponentially cozy. Chunky knits with contrasting collars. Referenced various periods. Clashing patchworked graphic zigzag prints.

Missoni

Palettes of pastels and springtime colors. The grey-toned pastels paired with the contrasting knits (and luxe fur) made this look not only fresh and modern but autumn appropriate.
Perhaps a statement clutch is all we need.
